Introduced in 2002 the Porsche Cayenne was created as Porsche’s first ever SUV despite going against the car company’s strong tradition of sports models. The creation of this SUV has been deemed by many as the savior of the Porsche franchise. The 2017 Porsche Cayenne due for 2017 is the new and improved 2018 model. Not much is known about the new 2018 model, but rumors are around.
2017 Porsche Cayenne Exterior and Interior Design
Exterior wise, the design has not altered much since previous models and the 2015 update. However, the headlight outer edges are taped off, as it the upper portion of the fascia. This tells us that the design of the headlights has been refined to fit differently. The grille also has been revised to be slightly larger in size. It is expected that the vents will differ slightly, but overall the sides of the car will have a similar design to the 2015 update. The 2017 Porsche Cayenne is speculated to have the same colour range being; solid black or white as standard, Jet Black, Purpurite, Mahogany, Carrara White, and Rhodium Silver.
The interior 2017 Porsche Cayenne hosts a variety of new changes including a digital centre cluster and a rotary knob allowed to select functions. The gear shifter has altered also, possibly meaning more options available. However, the same features as the previous model can be seen. Stainless steel door sills are present with leather-wrapped sport seats being 8 way electrically adjustable and feature Alcantara centre inserts and Porsche crests. Additional equipment included in the standard package include anti-glare rear-view mirror, power Steering Plus, and front and rear Park Assist.
Models should come with the Porsche Communication Management system including; navigation, the Connect Plus module, and a BOSE Surround Sound premium audio system. Interior air conditioning should also be present to ensure pleasant drive for the passengers.
